Beauty Dish Project : These pictures were taken with a DIY beauty dish I built as described here: http://davidtejada.blogspot.com/2008/04/beauty-dish-for-sb-800.html. Cost me about $30 in stuff from Home Depot and Walmart. For many of these shots, I handheld both the camera and the dish, so you can see it's a very good close range diffuser. For the last group of shots, I shot with the camera 6 feet away at eye level, and the beauty dish on a step ladder a bit higher on camera left.
